I find folders more visually appealing when the blade is 1.5" or less shorter than the handle. The Spydie Lum Tanto totally turned me off because of this. It just didn't look right. Can you list some knives that fit a good amount of blade into the handles?

Of the knives I've owned or been fortunate enough to handle, Darrel Ralph fits more blade into the handle than anyone I know.

Balisongs:). Most folders blades are about an inch shorter than there handles, the worst being gravity knives.

MT SOCOM-E, Spydie Police and military, BM AFCK, BM 710
Basically any folder with a high mounted on the handle pivot pin.

Greetz and take care, bart.

DDR has his Scorpion which has one of the best blade to handle ratio's I've ever seen.

My Mini Madd Maxx has a 4" blade and is just barely over 8" in OAL.

I also have a Lightfoot LDC 102 who's handle is .5" longer than the blade if I remember correctly.

You can see the MMM & LDC at my web page.

Definitely Darrel Ralph's Apogee and EDC, and the BM 710. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Sebenza....
EDC-4.5" handle, 3.5+" blade
lrg Seb-4 5/8" handle, 3.5" blade
med Apogee-5" handle, 3.9" blade
Not in the pic, but: BM 710HS-4 15/16" handle, 3.9" blade

Spyderco Endura-Packs almost a 4in. blade into a handle under 5in.
Small Sebenza-What can I say, Great knife!
