Can anyone tell me if the new Blue handled Delicas have been released yet? If so where can I get one?

I E-mailed Roger at Bayou LaFourche and he replied that he was expecting some in this week. You can try checking with him, and see if they came in.

They are out there. In fact, I should receive my plain edge blue Delica from Roger at Bayou La Fourche tomorrow. He told me that he had 1 plain edge and 1 combo edge blue Delica coming in this week with plans for more in the future. Give him a call or drop him an email, he's a real pleasure to work with. I try to throw all my knife buying business his way these days.

I also emailed Knifecenter.com but the person who replied was unsure if or when they would get them

The blue-handled Delica's are also available through SFO. They are available in PlainEdge or SpyderEdge.

I don't have a digital camera, but I'll try to describe the color as best I can. It's a lighter shade of blue (but it is not "light blue") with kind of a greyish/purplish tint to it. I guess I'd call it blue berry blue. I was hoping it would be more of a navy blue, but it is still a very attractive color. And it certainly looks less menacing than a black handle to the sheeple.

That description probably makes no sense, so it might be best to wait until someone can post a pic for you.
