Anyone have experience with one yet? This is 1 of only a few that I'm considering that's BM made. I'd like to hear any feedback from owners or those who have handled them if ya would be so kind.

Thanks,
Gibby

I am curious also. This knife is on my short list. Like I need another knife. :D

I had one. They are nice to look at, but a little awkward to flip open and closed. It is hard to explain though, and you almost have to hold one.

When I flipped it closed, I kept nicking the palm of my hand with the tip, but I have really big hands.

I gave it to my little brother. He loves it.

i've to agree with trypton; but nevertheless, i love the kulgera : beautyfull shape, s30v, good blade's size ...

Personally I found the blade to be little too long for my taste and spear-point isn't really my thing.

My knife also had blade play on arrival(Funnily enough, all my knives I've ordered from knifecenter has had some sort of problems.. hmm.) so I had to tighten the pivot, which made it less smooth.

I also don't like the handle. They should have put full G10 scales on it.

But this is just me. Most people seem to like it.

My knife for sale if anyone wants it btw. ;)

Just received my Kulgera 930 Osborne a couple weeks ago. This is my first BM Knife.

I haven't actually used it yet, but my first impression is very favorable. Great fit and finish, very smooth blade operation, and I like the look of the Black/Blue layered G10 scales. The spear point blade may not be one of the most practical / usable blade designs but I really like the look. Knife fits my hand nicely.

One thing I have noticed is it takes a pretty considerable flick to open the blade, but a minor pivot adjustment may fix that.

Based on this knife, I will likely consider future BM purchases. Very nice knife for the price point.

I have been carrying one for a couple weeks now.

I love it. Easy to flick open, and easy to close, and have never been bitten on closing.

I love the shape and the looks of it. Its comfortable in my hand, and its light. Blade shape is appealing as well, and useable in my opinion. Clip is strong. Lock up is solid, with no blade play. I can hold it just shy of vertical, pull the axis lock back, and the blade deploys. To close, I simply pull the axis back, lift my hand, give a little hand bob, and it closes. Super smooth.

Its very classy looking as well.

I am glad I purchased it, and I don't think it will leave my possesion.

I've been carrying mine since last June or July time. I love the thing. Mine is very smooth and closes easily. The S30V is easy to sharpen. I love the feeling that it's a slim knife that can perform heavy tasks if needed. All of the Osbourn designs are great IMO.

I really like mine so far, s30v sharpens as I have expected it too and holds a great edge. Feels nice in my hand, opens and closes easy enough. Studs are not that big and as such sometimes I find wanting a bit more. I like the shape of the blade and overall I find it a good edc. Sits low enough in the pocket for me.

It does remind me of my 942, which I love. I dont know which I like more as I have not had it long enough. But its an Osborne design for sure and I will probably grow to love it as I have my 942.

Can the blade be closed with just the thumb and not the nail? The reason I ask is the studs on the axis lock look like the BM 530 in the pic's and the 530 is kind of slippery to me. I can't close it with one hand, I have to use the nails on my 1'st two fingers to pull back the axis lock. If the lock has studs like the Grip. or the 710,960 ,etc. I would love it.

I don't have any problem closing the blade on the 930 with just my thumb, no need to "dig in" with the thumb nail.

The Kulgera is my least favorite Osborne design, to the point where I'll probably sell mine off soon.

IMO You'd be better off with the 960 (specially the REI model now that its on sale), 950 or 94X, basically any other Osborne design.
