Bob Patrick Ring Knives?

I saw these ring knives on Bladeart and was intrigued. I've always liked push daggers, and this has the same concept behind it, but seems even more secure in your hand. Does anyone have any experience with these? Do they need to be fitted to your approximate ring size, or does that not matter? If you punch something hard do they hurt your finger and/or hand? Thanks.
