David Brunner (AKA Bandityo) of Bandit Knives just posted a CQC7B he worked over. He added Ti Bolsters and Micarta Scales, but left the blade stock.

I think the only way this could be better is if it was a waved CQC7B and he (real) Satin finished it.

David, you have hit the nail right on the head! I am sure the masses will agree, this is 'the look' that a lot of gentlemen in this forum desire. Never mind the fact that bolsters actually, ....may even bolster the pivot, and micarta provides a superior grip surface.....aw hell...it just LOOKS RIGHT! Until "Custom Production" is available, you'll be busy...

And, John, I have a waved '7B inbound....may be in the mailbox today.....(yes See2, it's a PLAIN EDGE.) I got it to use offshore for fishing. Hmmmmm....???

Thanks guys. I was doing this for a guy who told me what he wanted without a sketch or anything, so this is what I thought would look good. Yes, I could have satin finished the blade, but he didnt request that. I personally would have jeweled the liners for that "custom" touch that would only be seen when you wanted to see it by looking inside.

Overall, Im very pleased with it. And even though I carry a MT LCC D/A, this turned out so good I may have to do one for myself!

thanks again
