Well I just received the last of the Bose/Case Collaboration Swing Guards I have been working on. These knives finished up my goal of collecting the entire set of Bose knives 99-07 and it sure is nice to reach a goal every now and then..:) It's time to start saving for next years release..

sunburst, that is a very fine looking set of knives you got yourself there! thanks for sharing. Joe

A worthy goal, burstman! They are beautiful, and the couple I have, are very well made indeed!

That is one heck of a collection! Ive recently started collecting the collaborations as well (i've got a whittler, muscrat and dogleg jack) and could see how they can become addictive. They are such well made knives. It is getting harder to be satisfied with standard productions knives after getting some of these.

My goodness yes that is a nice looking set of knives. Great images too!

So, what do you think about the way they work? How tight did they get the guard when it is open and does it vary between each of the knives or all pretty much the same?

Thank you for your kind remarks, they are most appreciated :)..Kerry as with all the Bose Collaborations I have they have incredible quality and superb workmanship in every detail. That's why I was so surprised to see a few folks have one or two issues with them.

Grin..:p the guard on each and everyone of these knives is as tight as a preachers wallet..Very impressive with no variation on the five swing guards that I have, a truly fun knife to own and operate. A bit expensive for a production knife but they seem to be stuck somewhere in between a custom knife and production knife..

I am already excited to see what Tony & Case put together for next year..

Thanks again,

Ralph

Hey Sun!!! Great looking set!! Thanks for posting ;) Tony let me hold the proto in pearl about a month ago..It was SWEEEEET!!

The EBONY looks especially appealing!

Any idea what will be on offer next year?

The Ebony wood Swingguard is the one that gets my attention. Something about it just looks so good! Hope I can get the money together before they are all gone!:D:thumbup:

From what I was told & understand, the old origanal knives of this type often had a similar dark wood for scales.I would have gone for that one too,but I got a good deal on this one,so I went for it.
