a Military.

Sweet!

Lightweight, and VERY sharp. Dang thing bit me already, thankfully New Graham gave me some bandaides, they should also include something to take out blood stains from jeans! Note to self: keep flesh away from this blade. It came screaming-flesh-searing-cuts-like-butter sharp. Great knife.. Love the feel of the textured G-10, feels nice and grippy.

Already thinking of my next Spydie purchase. (Manix mini - Para)

you're off to a good start!

i think i'm up to around 10 now-they can sure be addictive!

Yep, hide your wallet fast. Once the Spyderbug bites you its hard to stop reaching for that wallet and you'll notice that it keeps getting thinner and thinner too. Next thing you know the wife is saying, "didn't you just get a knife?" Or, "another one?". :D

Your Military is very nice! Just Lays Potato chip, no one can just buy one. Both the Para and the Mini Manix are awesome knives!! Also the Lil' Temp if you can find one.
Here is the Mini Manix and the Lil" Temp.

Being what is called a Boring Traditionalist, ie., knives in my collection are simple, straight forward designs. Nothing really "over the top". I never really gave Spyderco any consideration. I always thought they were just too much, with the big thumb hole, the raised portion of the blade. Just "too much". Well, I broke down and decided to give one a try. A Military. And since I do like the better quality steels, the Military, being CPM30V, was right in the ballpark. I must say that I'm impressed. Razor sharp right out of the box. Tight, no blade wobble, and smooth opening. All I can say is "What took me so long".

Great choice--now you need that para.

And, ah, what the heck, go ahead and order a D`allara drop point with that para.

yep! tight and no blade wobble! And of course very very sharp!

Congrats on the Millie, you chose a good one for sure! I'm always going on about how awesome the Para is, I don't believe you could go wrong with that one either:D

I'm a minimalist. Right now, I only own one Spyderco - a Para. As much as I'd like to buy another knife, I'm just not sure what else I would ever need?!?! I really don't want to go smaller and see no reason to go bigger and heavier for my needs.
