I really had no intention of buying for myself....but....

Was at the local sporting goods store picking up a camp axe for my brother when I happened to glance at the Spydie selection. Most of them were at or very close to the full MSRP, but there were a few that were priced the lowest I've ever seen. I picked up the Chinooks for $87.00 last night, bought the last two they had. If I'd had more money I think I'd have picked up the Morans for $45.00 and the Militaries for 85.00 If I can think of a way, I still might.

I haven't had any real personal interest in a Chinook in quite awhile, and I'm usually not a fan of any serrations on a blade, but...these are damn nice lookin' knives, especially for what I paid. If I don't use 'em as trade fodder, I'm thinkin' they might be darn nice EDC's.

One of 'em was a demo...maybe I'll carry it awhile and see how things work out.

Most of y'all gettin' along purty well with your Chinooks?

I seem to recall that Mr. Keating, the designer of the Chinook, had some type of technique in which he used two Chinooks. Sort of an American Musashi Miyamoto.
