Have been trying for several years to replace a kitchen knife that is probably of pre-WWII vintage. It has been variously been called a bread and/or angel food cake knife. It has a very thin 10" blade that tapers from 4/5" at the bolster to 11/16" at the tip. It has VERY FINE(Approx. 40/inch) EVEN SERRATIONS for the length of the blade and a 2" tang fastened to the rosewood handle with two steel rivets. There is no maker's/manufacturers mark. Can anyone out there tell me where to find one of these: either new old stock or excellent condition used?
