Yasuhiro Fujimoto Stag Lockback
Here is a very nice custom folder for sale only at this time please. No trades on this one at this time.
Yasuhiro Fujimoto (now deceased) was a very popular knifemaker and long-time Knifemaker's Guild member. This Fujimoto knife features an India Sambar stag handle with nice gnarly and well-matched stag on both sides. As seen in the below pictures, it is a very stylish and thin (only 1/2" thick at thickest part of handle) gentleman's folder. Blade is 3/32" stock ATS-34 steel with a mirror-polish finish. This is a lock-back model. No play in blade. Blade is centered nicely when folded. Knife has a "stilletto" style blade and overall look to it. Blade is 3 1/2" long. Overall length is 8 3/16" long. Weight is 3.4 ounces. Has nail-nick on blade and is a very smooth opener. Blade is etched "Y.FUJIMOTO" on blade and is tang-stamped "ATS-34 DA008" on the same side. Knife has nickel silver bolsters, liners, and pins. Also, has red spacers between the stag and liners for a professional look. Knife is in mint shape – never used – never sharpened – never carried. Knife only – no box – no paper work. I will include a red velvet pouch with this knife.
