HUGE PRICE DROP ON THE VASES!!AND THE ART NOUVEAU!!
was $250 for the art nouveau, NOW is $200 -shipped!, was $650 for the vases, NOW $500!!!!!-shipped!
Hey guys, FIRST thing: i have acquired this signed bronze sculpture (an ashtray), a long time ago (the person, a close friend) had it for 25 odd years (if not more) they are moving and said they didn't want it anymore and i could have it. Anyway it is signed by the sculptor on the back and fully bronze. Highly collectable as "are nouveau", It depicts a lady smoking a ciggarette while her hair blowing in the wind, along with her exhaling the smoke.
SECOND thing: from the same person i have gotten (2) japanese antique bronze vases. They are also stamped at the bottom of each 1. The woman who gave me these items is a very close freind (who had worked for 40 years as an auctioneer. She told me what value these things had as i was leaving and i refused to take them for nothing, BUT she insisted and wouldn't take no for an awnser.... So anyway here i am..
For the "art nouveau" i am asking for $250 shipped. (valued at $350-$450 at auction)
For the (2) vases i am asking for $650 shipped. (valued at $750-$1,000 at auction)
Reason im selling these pieces as i have no real appreciation at this point for them or at least not as much as others may..+ i could use the cash... and ive checked with my local dealers and they told me that the next auction in around sept. or oct... and i really dont want to wait that long, but if they dont sell on here i will just wait anyhow
