George what day is he coming? I met Bub at the blade show, he is quite a character, a nice guy too! He is also making folders now. I'd be great to see him and also pick his brain. I attached a pic of the knife I made out of the chainsaw chain we welded up. Blade is 4 1/8 in long, 8in overall. Fittings are nickel silver and scales are stag.

Chuck: Was there many voids in the billet when you were grinding it??? Bub, is over Potter's. I told them to give me a 2 day advance notice, when that happens I'll let you know. I plan on tuning Bub up with some HI-TEST Portuguese food.

There were a couple of small voids, but they blend in with the pattern and you don't notice them. For the most part it turned out pretty darn good. thanks for letting me know when Bub comes over.

I talked to Potter and Bub today it looks like they may not show up. They couldn't give me a yes or no.
