I have an old 110 sheath. It's the soft leather sheath and it only says BUCK on the snap. I would like to know when this sheath was used or the version/variation it went to. I know it is one of the first that came out.

The very first early ones seemed extra soft and thin....like a pouch. I think they gradually got beefier.

Called "Angeles Souvenir?"

Somewhere in the Second Version and somewhere in 1967 came the change to a significantly thicker leather.

Well this one is really soft, and a bit smaller than the average 110 sheath, Guess I should take a picture. I would like to know the value of this sheath.

Hard to figure when you so rarely see them.

Sheaths usually take a beating, so that could be a rare bird.

Speaking of rare birds.....

Where is that Dave 110 when we suddenly need him?

Come on, Mr. 110!

:)

I have a second version left stamp that has a sheath looks like that. The first version belt loop isn't as wide. I will verify this tomorrow but I believe my memory serves me correct.

Here is a picture of the three different style of 110 sheaths that I have been able to acquire over the years.

The one on the left in the first picture, and on the right in the second picture, should be like the one you are asking about. Mine came with a one line 110, which was the last of the one line 110 versions, made in 1967. Hope this helps you some. HL

Middle one, of course, is an Atchison (for those who don't know that).

After that Buck took over the sheathmaking in 1969.

Thanks for the info, I figured it went to one of the first 110s. I'm not a huge collector of 110, although I have bout 15 of them. If any body is looking for this sheath shoot me a PM.
