I've begun going back to old faithful( the 110) as an everyday carry but reall liked how handy the clip was with my Camillus Dominator, that goes in the safe now. Does anyone know of an aftermarket clip maker or can suggest how to add this onto my 110?.

I really like the heft an feel of the 110 but don't like to draw attention to it with a belt case and its quite hefty in my front pocket along with my speedloaders. I also hate when it falls sideways in the bottom of my pocket.

Any guidence would be appreciated

This has been asked about or mentioned in various ways on the forums before. Back in the mid 1990's I put a clip on an old SchradeUSA LB7 (Buck 110 lookalike). The clip came from an from an old junker tactical knife I had that I didn't want anymore.

You can order all kinds of clips & screws from places like Jantz Supply, Knifekits.com, etc.

Putting a clip on is easy - I clamped the clip to the knife; drilled holes with a bit that fit the holes, using the clip as a guide; then very carefully tapped them. Everything worked fine, BUT, carrying the knife in my pocket got old after a couple of days. In a sheath, I barely knew it was there; in my jeans pocket, I noticed it all the time. Carrying it in the pocket of my khaki's was out of the question. I ended up taking the clip off and going back to the sheath.

I'd be interested to hear how this works for you, if you decide to do it. Let us know.

thx - cpr

Me too. I used to carry the 110 every day. I then found the Buck-lite knives and carried them for years. I then found the Spyderco and Kershaw knives and they were lighter and easy to carry. Lately I am taking another look at the Buck 110. I just bought a new one and I have to ask, how can you get a better, sturdier more reliable knife for 29.95 and a ten dollar rebate? IMO nothing even comes within a country mile for value. I agree though, its to heavy for pocket carry and I will be going with the Sheath.

clip can be attahced via screwed onto the bolster, but you'll need to drill and tap the bolster. I'd just contact BF member STR, hedoes great work

STR does that sort of thing, and very nicely too, I might add. He has a forum in the Makers section.
