Buck 112 ?

Hello, anyone have any idea what a Buck 112 (USA) with a backwards C next to 112 means ? Is this a date code or something ? Thanks.

The backwards C means your Buck 112 was made way back in 1996. See the following link for the Buck tang symbols:

Johnny, thanks a bunch, I bought this one (like new in sheath) for $20 to give to my son. He likes the older models, so I guess this turned out fine.

If you are calling a 1996 knife 0ld - what would you call the "112" my Dad had where you had to point the tip into your body to read "Buck" - and it had black linen micarta scales rather than the cocabola wood!
