Has anyone got one these new Bucks yet? I was thinking of ordering a few, but not sure how they open as it says you don't touch the blade?

I don't have one either but it's the same lock type ("Safespin") as is used on the Red Point which I do have. You use your thumb to slide the spring loaded button on the handle to the rear and rotate the blade open with your first finger using the notched "wheel" that's the tang end of the blade. It works pretty smooth and easy.

You have to slide the button back again and hold it open to close the blade.

Well I ordered two, a blue and a black one, so I will see soon if I like them......

they arrived the other day. Since they are Bucks, I added them to my collection, but I don't think too much of them. They are those knives you would not have bought in person, at least to me.....The interent is bad that way....

Exremely cheap feeling handles, and the knife does not feel secure in any way. If it did not say Buck, I would have guessed it was made by a far less quality company.

I think that the Revel, FlashPoint and RedPoint are gadget knives that will find a customer base in those that frequent the mountaneering, backpacking and hiking stores (not to be confused with a sporting goods store). Every backpacking, hiking and mountain climbing tree hugger is going to want one to clip on their back pack! :D
