I stumbled across a traditional on a Dutch site that seems perfect for me being the Buck Solo with wood handle.
I like the looks of it and it has just one blade like the way I like it.

On the site there are is the logo of the 420 HC Boss treatment, but on the description it says that the blade steel is 420 J2.
I don´t like the 420J2 very much so I would very much like to know if Buck makes them in that steel or if it is a fault on the site.

The price is below eur 20.

So I would very much like to know what you think about this knife as well.

Thanx very much in advance.

Your best source of info on the knife and steel will be provided by the Buck folks...(link left in "Traditional")

Spy,,
Go back to the Buck site and put this in the search bar. 0302CWS-B
It is a USA made Buck.
The 420j2 Solo is currently made in China.

Thanks very much:thumbup:
It sounded too good to be true anyway, an American made Buck at that price over here:grumpy:
Maybe I'll opt for the 309 after all. It's twice as expensive but made in the US with 420HC steel.

I can order and get it over here.

Sorry I posted in the wrong forum:o
