Well, I've had this knife for several years and decided I want to remove the g10 handles and polish off the coating for a bright finish. I CAN'T GET THE G10 SCALES OFF! I am using a T19 Torx screwdriver. It seems a little small but its the only one I can get to fit. I used penetrating oil. I boiled the knife to get the metal to expand, but just can't get those scales off! The screws won't budge! Any suggestions? I don't want to strip the screws with the T10.

If you have some allen wrenchs, try 'em until you find one with a tight fit. Sometimes it'll work, but be cautious and don't strip out the head.

the size for that torx head is T10, unless the screw are not from the factory. There is loctite on the threads that has done what it is suppose to. You might have better luck by hitting the screw head with some heat and using the correct torx driver. You can also use a allen wrench like suggested above.
