a couple weeks back i bought a 305 lancer at a brick and mortar store. when i got home i looked it over and noticed the tip was not ground! i was a little concerned and got in contact with Joe Houser. he said to send it in to his attention.

i shipped the knife to him 8 days ago and today i get a package from buck containing a new 305 lancer that is razor sharp. i couldnt be happier. i see many more bucks in my future. kudos to buck for standing behind their product and for handling everything very quickly!:thumbup::thumbup:

I live in the UK and bought a 301 online from States. One of the blades rubbed slightly and was catching, got in touch with Jeff (BUCK Forum) on here. He arranged for a new one to be selected for me and shipped to UK for free:eek:!

You CANNOT ask for more more than that ! Superb service and has made me a huge BUCK convert. A company that's true to it's word!

Many or most of us here have had the same experience. I gathered up the family's old 300 series once and sent them to buck for spa jobs. Asked them to invoice me for repairs.
One or two were polished up and several others came back replaced with new knives. One was one of the 305 lancers and one is a new 301 among others.
I think it cost me $12 to $15 total, give or take.

Buck is a wonderful company, represented by some of the greatest folks walking the planet.

I just shipped 8 knives to Joe for various repairs. 1 was a vintage 501 (script B stamp) to do a blade swap with a 501 with micarta handles and was told they would look to see if they had a vintage blade to put in it instead of doing the swap-out, which is still possible if one can't be found. I never expected that.
