I just recently acquired a grinder that runs at 3400 rpm and would like to use it for buffing. I have 10" wheels and it seems to be going a little fast compared to the old way I use to do it with step pulleys and a jack shaft. What do most of you people run for rpm on your buffers. Also if I need to slow it down what is the easiest way of doing it.
