The masses have spoken!!!

I've had a number of requests for a kydex option for the bushcraft knife.

So, here's what I'd like to offer. Have a look:

This will be sold as a "Tactical Option" for the Bushcraft knife.

It will include a multi-position kydex sheath (set up for TekLok), a Large or IWB TekLok, a detachable firesteel loop, and a Light-My-Fire firesteel.

All for $60

The Sheath and Teklok alone will be $35

p.s. and Yes, I will substitute for anyone wanting to switch from leather to kydex. I don't need your knife here to make the sheath...I have a blank to work from.
 
Too bad mine has shipped already, if I knew this was an option I woulda gone for the kit!

Dan, mine came with kydex and Tek-lock. Can I just order the detachable firesteel loop with the attachment screws and a Light-My-Fire firesteel?

I don't know if I can articulate this right... could you mold another piece of kydex that would bolt on and make a sort of pocket/pouch? something that could maybe hold an altoids tin?

I guess across the front would be about the only place it would fit, unless there could be something unobtrusive that could 'hang' by bolting to the bottom two rivets.. Here's a thread about altoids and sheath kits.

there's a link to an altoids kit slideshow in the first post, and a few inventories for sheath based kits as well

I was kinda hoping for a small tinder pouch or similar on the leather, but something modular for the kydex would be cool, sort of a bikini holder for a tin. Altoids are popular, but there are other carriers, like those gift card tins, and I have something a little bigger that held a Fossil watch.

Thats kinda what I wanted originally over the leathers. I guess I was one of the guys who suggested kydex. Didn't know you'd actually have time for em. Anyway to swap em? I should be getting the knives with leather sheaths soon hopefully.Thanks

Dan, I will take two of the kydex sheaths for both of my orders, #39 and #128. Just the sheath and tek-lok only. I will post in the pre order thread as well.
