Well, its raining like hell outside today, and we need it so bad I can't complain. Plus, work and all that jazz too. But I did get some pics of my Koster Bushcraft. And along with that some other Gemz too.;)

As with all knives from Dan, this one came sharp as hell. Its got some really pretty curves too. Its a great knife!

Dan, how do you get the mikarta to be scratch free, and yet still rough???

Great pics, Andy!!

I take the micarta to 120 grit, then bead-blast with silica carbide (not glass, not alum. oxide). You have to cover the blade with tape to protect it during bead-blasting. Then, afterwards, I go around the edges wtih a 400 grit belt.

And, uhh....this is top secret....:foot:

:D  :p

Gah! I love the looks of that Nessie! (Bushcraft is a smart-looking knife too!)

**EDIT: I was referring specifically to the nessie in the first post, top photo. But frankly all the knives look great!**

Fiddleback - can you give us some details on the leaf-shaped blade you posed with the bushcraft? One of yours? Natural handle or one of the burl-like custom synthetics?

Thanks hollowdweller that's the thread I have been looking for all over the place and couldn't find, now I know why it's on a different forum.

Fiddleback I just love that red handle bushcraft Jr.

Dan really looking foward to getting your (my) bushcraft soon. :D Thanks so much!

Oh. Thanks y'all. The handle on that EDC is stabalized dyed Maple burl its got black liners and Corby bolts with a steel lanyard tube. They're all 01 tool steel.
