Andrew, nice pictures! I'd be interested to see what your setup is. Looks like you may've used a blue tinted filter to get that very blue, cool, color effect? The pic resolution is nice, but you can get good results on the internet with resolutions as low as 100 dpi. Check my webpage out below and you'll see tons of pictures that are in 100 dpi resolution. Some are direct scans (sheath examples) while others are from photos I made.

Andrew,

Congrats on the super scans. What scanner did you use? I appreciate the interesting perspective u set up in the scan. Really gives ya a feel for the Busse BM. Now I really have to geta Busse or 2 someday. Your Busse is made of the elusive INFI, right? Best wishes and thanks for the scan.

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <------<<

I am not sure but the blue tint is probably a by product of flourescent lighting.

Great pics and good job for your first attempt!

Very nice! Dannyc, are you finally going to get one now? Andrew, important question for you: What's the blade measurement of your BM? I copied the full-length photo from your page and resized it so that the scale was 1:1 with my BM's handle when I placed the latter on my screen. The blade on your BM is 8.5" long when measured from the top of the handle material to the tip of the blade. Was your BM a custom job or was your picture somehow cropped?

Thanks folks for the interest. The fotos were shot using my Nikon Coolpix 950 Digicam and the 'cool' blue tint was a result of colour balance adjustment in Photoshop. The pics were taken at ISO 200 and F2.8 1/30.

Yes Phil, the knife is INFI. Greg, the blade appeared shorter than the actual size of 9 inches coz I think the angle of shooting was doing some dilusion. Thanks Chiro for your link.

Andrew, very cool BM pics! I download all the Mistress pics I find, and yours are really crisp.

Andrew, nice shots. That handle looks more interesting every time I see it. It literally screams uncomfortable to me as the grooves look rather sharp, but those who I have asked about it all say its comfortable. In a couple of weeks I should be able to see for myself.

I think you wil find the grooves to bbe more roundd than sharp yet still capable of offering a secure grip Mr. Stamp
