Sal and crew,

I just bought a plain Native today and after tightening the clip I looked through the box and found a....

Buyer Response Card

Should I fill it out or have you heard enough from me and my ilk on this Forum?

One may want to keep an Eye out for my review of the Bob Kasper designed, Kevin Gentile modified AFCK and interview of Bob Kasper. Sorry about the wait, my review and interview should be online shortly, look for it right here at BladeForums.com. The delay has been getting pictures, luckily Spark has graciously offered to do the pictures. Knife writer I may be, photographer I am not, yet.

This is spooky, I came in this morning to put on a post on this very topic but have been beaten to it.

Sal & Crew

I filled in my first registration card just after Christmas for a Wegner but have not seen site of a catalogue.

Do you send out your catalogue on response to the cards? I cant remember if I saw something about it on the card.

I'm not comparing but I did get my Benchmade catalogue within a few weeks of sending off their registration card.

Out of interest what do you do with the info on the cards?

If I'm planning on keeping the knife NIB, I don't send off anything. I keep all paperwork that came with the knife. If it's a "working" knife, I darn sure send off everything they ask me to.

I cut it, and I cut it, and it's STILL too short!

Bagman - there should have been a catalog in the box with the knife. The response card is more for the information.

I noticed on these cards that by filling it out and returning it you are entered in a drawing for a free Spyderco knife--how often is this drawing held? Anyone won one??

Guy

MDP, I've only seen the response cards with the new white slide boxes, and the catalog was only in one of the three slide boxes I've gotten (i.e. the company who sold me the knives have been taking the catalogs out).

Go ahead and fill 'em out. I've filled out all the ones I've gotten so far...just so Spyderco knows their knives are in a good home.

You're only wasting a bit of time and ink...and you might win a knife. Maybe.

Guy, the card said the drawing was monthly.

This could be addictive, like lotto.

Buy a knife get a chance to win a knife, the more knives you buy, the more chances you have....

This is logical....

Whew, Now I know what gamblers go through.
