The first C25 Centafonte was aluminum handled with a kraton?,insert.
It came in Grey, green & blue. Which color is harder to find?
It also came in plain edge or serrated. Which is more common.
Any problems associated with this model variation ?
I know it was released later as a G-10 version with an added lock.
Any info appreciated.

I could be wrong, but I think the grey version was first. It was the first I remember seeing at least. There seems to be more serrated versions floating around, but that doesn't mean more were made.

Seems to me i did answer similar questions not long ago.

I think they came in all three edge- configurations (PE,CE,SE)

The green- insert one seem the least common, and the PE's have been harder to find, allthough i believe that might be due to collectors holding on to them. I do believe that it was made less CE's. (Not totally sure about this one, more a persistent rumour.)

If there is a problem with the Centofante I it would be that the coating is not very durable. I really don't know of any other problems, but i have never carried any either.

A bad pic. the 4 on the top is the Centofane I models:

Grey with black insert SE (C25SBK where the S is the edge and the BK is the color of the insert)
Blue with blue insert PE (C25PBL)
Blue with blue insert SE (C25SBL)
Grey with black insert SE (C25SGR)

I did carry the version on the top of that picture. the only thing that was putting me off was the kraton inserts which I have replaced with skate-board tape.

overall, it is a very nice knife, which still gets some carry time now and then...
