Caly Jr,when Are They Coming?

Last week I ordered 2 calypso jrs w/zdp189 from shop lite they got back with me and said they were out of stock but they would have more in mid Nov. and would ship them then, so I left order with them. I would like to know if anyone knows if this date is right and if more are being made. thanks
 
I believe that Spyderco is sold out and all 1200 units have shipped. :confused: AFAIK No more are coming.
 
FWIW, I've been looking to buy more of these near-perfect EDC's. Also, just about everyone who sees mine would like a few of their own, but I can't send them anyplace to buy 'em.

He says the same thing on his auction for a Blue FRN ZDP-189 Delica - which isn't due out until at least January 2006. So much for shipping in "14-30 days or less" as the auction states :thumbdn:

I belive that on the Spyderco.com Forum, Sal mentioned, a couple of weeks ago, that every one that they had were all shipped out. He made no mention of another production run. My guess is that you are out of luck and would be better to jump on the Delica when it comes out in January.

I was fortunate to get 4 Caly's from New Graham before they ran out. Gave away a couple and kept two for myself.

I've dealt with flames and knives before on ebay and he is a good dealer. I've never had any problems with him in my dealings with him. In fact one of the knives I bought from him was a Gray Caly Jr. in VG10.

As for the ZDP189 Caly. I have one and haven't carried it. Not sure I will. It is nice and all but here lately I've just been into bigger knives for some reason. It may see some pocket time later but then again I may sell it when I feel like I can make a few $ or find something else I want more.

Flames and Knives used to be a good dealer,he has gone down hill in the past few months.
Last thing I bought from him was a gift for someone I was going to visit.Bought it on a Saturday and sent him a email saying that I needed it by Thursday and why(please ship priority mail),I was charged 7.95 shipping.He did not ship it until 5 days after I paid and used first class mail.I will not be a customer again.
 
Knivesplus is out of stock. I placed an order on Sunday and received an email today stating they were out of stock (even though it does not say that one the site). Oh well...
