caly ZDP

Oh yeah, this is one of the best knives I have ever purchased!! It is definately one of the best knives in it's class!!

Major thumbs up !

I am eagerly awaiting the Delica in ZDP and have my pre-order in with Grand Prairie Knives. As it's supposed to be released in January....I kind of look at it as either a belated Christmas present to myself or an extremely early Christmas present to myself (depends on which way the wife looks at it).

Right now I am shooting out the ZDP Caly vs the UKP. They take turns going to work with me. :D

Ohhh thats cold Carlos. People here are starving for a UKPK and you talk about that glut of Spydies you can have.:( ;)

A little duller OOB than I expected from some reviews I'd seen. An absolutely hair-popping edge will be lost quickly, but a shaving edge holds forever. Very good edc.

*grin* Been there, done that. The UKPK won because of its better handle.

well i just bought 2 buts thats all i could find. I'm looking for more though. Either that or a mini persian or black native frn

As mentioned above. The SUPER sharp edged OOB goes quickly, but what remains is still sharper than many of my other knives. This has become my daily driver.

I'm pretty happy with the edge holding. I just strop 30X on each side with he very cardboard that I cut to maintain the edge. This material is best in plain edge in my opinion.

I'd like to see a Chef's knife in this material. Wonder why other makers don't pick up on this blade steel besides William Henry?

I've been carrying the ZDP Caly for a few days now and it is outstanding!

If you're lookin for this give New Graham Knives a call they MAY still have some.
