What I want to do is a fixed blade 3" blade length with the blade wide enough to be in line with the length of the guard, lanyard hole, and the initials DBF in the handle toward the bottom, brass pins and guard, also a brass subhilt with a little curve for the index finger to rest on and to give it a good anchor to pull with, bone handle (I love the blue camel bone) handle length needs to be 4.5" from the bottom of the guard to the bottom of the handle (including subhilt, subhilt center spaced 1" from the guard). Basically the same design as the blue camel bone knife but with a subhilt, wider blade, and slightly longer handle. Also would need a leather sheath as it will be carried 24/7. Do you think this is something you'd like to do? If so, could you give me an estimate on how much the cost would be and timeline. If necessary, I have a sketch that is to scale and shows exactly how I would like it if it would help you with the estimate.
