I just made this for our annual "survival" trip. Twelwe guys with a lot of food and beer staying in the woods for 24 hours - those are tough conditions :D
We have been doing this for the last 11 years and it's lots of fun, and we get break from wifes and kids ;)

6 inch blade of ATS 34, black paper micarta, nickelsilver pins and a silver tube. I really don't like micarta much, but for this kind of knife I guess it's among the best choices. The blade is filed al the way to the spine, but it wasn't surposed to - I messed it up several times :barf: . Thats what happens if your thoughts are somewhere else while you work. Good thing I don't have a grinder :D

P.K.- I could only access one of those pic's. Very nice knife!! A great functional-looking design. Good luck surviving that adventure!:)

For some reason the original pic will not work.
Kommer du over til J. Hanghoi paa onsdag ?

?J. Hanghoi?

It worked for me. That looks like a great little camp knife! Your "survival" trip sounds fun too :)

That trip is fun, but it's hard too. I usually need two or three days to recover :D
Three years ago one of the guys wanted to do a little knifethrowing - the knife came back and hit his foot  Johnny Walker took care of the wound. So you see it's really dangerous out there :D
