Very cool indeed! I can't wait to try it out! Thanks for the opportunity!

That looks like it will work out great for me Stomper! Should work out right around my vacation coming up soon! Looking forward to It! Oh, and ms3902, what time did you say supper was? Ha! Ha! Sausage and taters sounds pretty fine! It's probably fresh sausage too, right?
Later!

I think batonning is a good sense of capabilities if you truly want to call it a camp AND kitchen knife. I have beat the hell outta some of the knives you have made me and they are fine. I have ZERO intention of abusing a knife like Jake did by shooting it, but I am not like others who think batonning is abuse. If you don't want it tested with batonning, it's ok by me.

I know Reuben batoned the heck out of his 3/32" Kephart, but I`m not really sure about 1/16" thick holding up to it. Maybe it should be called Camp Cook & Kitchen Knife.

Hehehehe, Reuben and Jake are both hacks! :D

I will be gentle with it. After I get my own, I will beat on it.

I was going to split some cinder blocks with it and then carve a rack of ribs.
Just kidding. ;)
The wife has plans for the kitchen with this one.

I don`t mean it only has to be used for cooking prep. Go ahead and make fuzzsticks or whatever. I`m really hoping someone gets a chance to take it fishing, I think it will work well for cleaning fish.

Fishing is an interesting thought. Bass are going now (I live right on 3 lakes connected).
Nice.

Well, from the looks of the talk going on here, I'm going to be testing how easy it is to SHARPEN after these guys finally get it to me! :P

I'm also planning on fruit and veggie prep, and maybe some chicken.

Oh yeah, and leather. I'm gonna cut horsehide leather with it :)

I am going to be in Connecticut all next week and won't be back till the 14th I hope this don't screw things up to bad. How long are we to use it before passing it on to the next person?
