Can a custom maker benefit from 25,000 hits per day?

So, what would it cost for a custom knifemaker to get a page on a website that generates 25,000 hits per day? Well, nothing. Knife Outlet happily provides free pages for interested makers in our "Custom Makers" section. Why? Two reasons. First, it adds interest to our site and improves the potential for even more hits. Secondly, I think it's good for the industry. I think the custom end of the business should get fair play right along with the production end.

We have a few pages up and running already which you can review by clicking on http://www.knifeoutlet.com/custom.htm and then choosing one of the makers names there. If you'd like to join them with a no-strings-attached free page of your own to showcase your work, just let me know. All we need from you is some images and some information about you to make the page interesting to read. Pretty simple and there's nothing to lose. Take care.

Good deal...it's nice to be able to get a look at some of those knives from makers who otherwise can only really show off their work at shows

Thanks for the kind words, Tom. I'm happy to say we've added George Tichbourne to the group of talented knife makers in our custom makers section. You can see his new page on our site at http://www.knifeoutlet.com/tichbourne.htm or you can navigate there from the "Custom Makers" menu selection on every page.

Also, we broke all of our activity records today by a pretty large margin. Over the past 24 hours our site enjoyed over 5500 visits to our home page and generated 60,000 hits for the site.

We have plenty of room for more custom makers. No charge, no hidden agenda, nothing to lose. If you have a web site, I think it's a fair bet your page on our site will generate more visits to your site. Take care.

OK, Jens, you have it. You can find your new page on our site at http://www.knifeoutlet.com/anso.com or you can navigate there by choosing "Custom Makers" from the menu choices on every page. Incidentally, I think you should call the "Personal Sheepfoot" the Toucan since it reminds me of that exotic bird. I enjoyed your site. You done some very interesting things. Take care.

I would like to thank Fred in public for the opportunity to join his site. I can't figure out why more makers are not taking advantage of his generous offer. After all there is no substitute for exposure to sell your product and what better location than on a high traffic site like Fred's?

Your site should give me what I need. If you want to share a little more personal history or background via e-mail, it might make the page more interesting. I'll get things underway this evening. Take care.

Depends on how hard they hit him?

Seriously though that sounds like a good deal to me too!
