The more I look at it, the more I want it. That thing would rock out loud so hard, the Junglas would look at it with respect. Deep respect. Man, that thing would be a freakin' beast. I want one. Want it bad.

Dammit JV3, you bastid. Great, now I gotta go find a way to get this thing made.

Oh hell yeah! I'd buy one too. Make sure it's still 1/4" thick like the BK2. Go big or go home! If I want a skinny blade, I'll buy a machete. I'm gonna dream about that tonight.:thumbup:
 
just once, i want to see a knife maker make a 1" thick x 12" chopper.

I would use it knock out big fat piggies and then slice lots of ham steaks.

IIRC I was ridiculed for thinking of such a thing by a 'mod' here on the board... :D

this is my thought, an extended BK2 in the 10" range, and yes with a good sheath like the junglas I'd pay $150.. but lets not say that out loud, because $140 sounds better, better yet $100 with inexpensive sheath:p

Why?? I cannot imagine tooling would be so costly especially if it was based on a larger BK2...

I really think it would sell like mad.. EVERYONE wants a chopper, this would outsell ESEE, HI, Condor, Matindale, CS just to name a few..

IMO that's the market to be in, the chopping market..

there's also nothing wrong with dreaming......:D
 
That is one wicked looking chopper! Whaddya think it would weight in at? 5, maybe 6lbs?? haha...yeah, I don't think .25" would be appropriate for that. May have to slim things down a bit to be practical, but otherwise I love it!

nah, I'd say maybe 2lbs.. the 2 weighs 1lb doesn't it:confused:? Anyhow maybe it doesn't need to be the full 1/4" thick..
