Can you make out my avatar?

Just wondering if you guys can tell what knife I use as my avatar. It is a knife that should be easy to recognize. If not it seems pretty useless to have it there. Too bad you can't use Bit Map files anymore to be able to have bigger pictures.

Keith,

Yours is easily recognizable because of it's uniqueness (is that even a word  ). But I suffer the same problem as you with my avatar, it is too darn small to really show much detail. Every time I try to enlarge it, the server rejects it. It really is a nice looking knife, too bad nobody can see the it :(

It is bad enough that my vision is failing, along with every other conceivable part of my body, without you guys using avatars one quarter the size of Monopoly pieces -- the small ones.

A few people's avatars seem to be about 4 times the size of everyone else's. Is that a special dispensation from Spark, or are they just sufficiently skilled with computer software to beat the rules?

Para, when I see your avatar I think Buster Warenski. He lives only about four blocks from my parents. Am I right?

Sorry Bugs, but I can't do a thing about the size of my avatar. There was a time you could change a picture over to Bit Map file and the software here would not limit the size of the picture. It seems that Spark has changed things and you can no longer do this. Since 50 pixels is the max in either direction then that is the maximum width that I can use. You Also have to keep the proportions of the knife correct so that is why the height has to be the way it is.

Nah, poboy, my avatar is not a pic of my Warenski. Clue: the fit and finish on the knife is about as good as it gets. The name of the maker is the answer to one of Les Robertson's 'homework' questions. You can see more examples of this makers work on several custom internet dealers web sites. He does not live in Utah.
