About halfway through I decided I better drill the tangs in a more eye-pleasing way...in case somebody wanted one with no handles.

All handle holes drilled...


Working in batches....great for speed...but what would take a few minutes on one knife translates into a few hours for a large batch....*sigh*

How long does it take to drill the holes in one blade?

Counting the setup time, switch time, countersinking...about a minute per hole...


So, yes...it took longer to drill the holes than it did for me to grind the bevels (I was doing both sides in around a minute total). :foot:




I'm done for today...whew!!


Holes getting corby bolts are counterbored and the handle fronts are all finished. :thumbup:



Tomorrow...I will turn down the corby bolts (they are slightly oversized) and then glue-up!!!
