I keep reading everywhere about zt's being able to puncture a car door no problem. Not that i am disputing this as i can totally see it happening, is there any videos out there?

Car doors aren't THAT tough these days. I'd bet most standard Kershaws could do that.

Agreed, car doors use pretty thin gauge steel for door skins. It's not part of the structure of the door and using a thicker steel just adds unnecessary pounds.

Stupid Yes...Dumb Yes...Awesome oh hell yes!! Shows the strength of these amazing blades!

Car hoods are generally thicker steel than doors so I would imagine they would go through a door even easier.

there is no denying the awesomeness. i just have a hard time imagining any scenario in which stabbing through car parts with a knife would be necessary, or even helpful.

If your car was filled with tuna duh!...:D

I wouldn't do that with a knife I hated let alone a $200 plus knife..

I've always dreamed of zombies but if its actually Transformers we're fighting in the apocalypse, I'll be sure to carry a ZT!

It's nice seeing the breaking point or limit of anything, isn't it? The fact that they stab a hood of a car without a problem makes me more confident that I can bring that certain knife knowing it will EXCEED my expectations.

It's kind of like having a car with 500hp. You certainly don't need that much horse power, and 95% of the time you are going to drive it normal.

Just knowing what a knife or car COULD do brings great enjoyment for a lot of people.
In the end it builds confidence with the owner.

...What the hell did you guys buy knives for?:D

I bought mine to cut things. Pry with it? No, buy a crowbar. Hammer with it? Buy a hammer. Etc. Instead of spending $200 bucks on a knife you "hope" does everything, spend that $200 bucks on the proper tools for the job. I understand you guys wanting your knives to be able to handle everything and then some, but that's not what knives were designed for. They were designed to cut, and aslong as it will do that every time then I'm fine with it. I don't think you buy a hammer to cut open boxes, so I don't think we should expect a knife to pierce a car door. I just don't believe that's good judgement of a knife. Not trying to start any argument, but that's just my views on it. I think we should remember what knives were designed for, and aslong as they will do that we should be more than happy. Keep them in their own ball game.

Now, to answer the question....You can take it to the bank, I bet every single ZT made can pierce a car door. No questions asked.

I can't post pics but if someone who can post pics give me there email I can send them pics of my 302 going thru a brick, steel drum and chopping wood :)

A youtube search should reveal the answer to the question.
