I chased down the Snap-On truck today in the crummy weather we have here and was able to get some carbon fiber in my diet!
The guy saw the ZT logo on my vehicle and wanted to know all about my business and if we wanted to be a regular customer and was disappointed
when I explained ZT is Kershaw and I'm just a knife nerd that slapped my own decal on the side... stupid off topic story told, on to the knife porn:

Really cool. They are a little too flashy for me but I'll be buying them anyway. <sigh> :p

The red's not that much brighter than the 1670RD. Maybe the same, but the color seems to vary slightly from knife to knife or batch to batch with the RDs I've seen. The green in this one though screams HERE I AM, LOOK AT ME!
It has a nice almost iridescence to it. It doesn't have the sort of color changing quality like the OD that seems to go from green to brown but really changes shades from a more yellowish to a darker green depending on the angle of the light. Pretty standard quality I guess for this type of aluminum anodizing where you fill the voids with dye and then seal it up, but the shimmer seems a bit more noticeable in the green than in the red. It may just be that I'm euphoric from having CF Blurs to play with and I'm hallucinating a bit :)

$150 but its like $10 less if you buy regularly [don't think this is deal spotting since there is only one place to get these-I can edit this if need be]. If you need the contact info for your local Snap-On I can find the nearest one. I have a list of all the Snap-On dealers for 2011 or if you don't have one this guy said he can mail to people that don't have a Snap-On covering their area. Or if people are really desperate I'd be willing to handle money and send them for cost plus shipping. I'm not one of those bastards that buys a dozen limited Blurs for $60 and then sells several of their "one extra" for $130 or gives people the "I just want the $170 I have in to this one extra I ordered by accident" line to a dozen people [you guys know who you are!].
how much did they cost if you don't mind me asking...may need to chase one down here

I live in nascar country in Mooresville, NC. It would be awesome to get the info for my nearest snap on guy, those knifes look amazing

Snap On is selling them for $150.

A little too rich for my blood unfortunately. I'd rather buy a ZT200 or ZT350 for that price I think.

For $150, I'm not too sure, but I'd love to get my hands on the green one so I can swap in my stonewashed S30V blade.

My Snap on guy had the green and the red one. He wanted $150 also. I passed on them, but they are definitely some sweet knives. If anyone wants one bad enough, let me know. I'd be willing to buy and ship one for ya.

A friends Dad has a shop that the Snap-On guy regularly stops at and I gave him the part numbers so I'm hoping he doesn't forget to ask when the guy shows up again! Until then..........you lucky dog you. ;)

Standard 14c28n steel or something else?

Near as I know they are supposed to be standard 14c28n. Would like to have seen them made in S30V or CPM154 for the $150 price tag.

whats interesting is the snap-on guy who services my area doesnt have it in his computer system yet... and we are only an hour north of the Kershaw Headquarters...

I love that on the bay a guy is trying to sell a green one for $399

I didn't notice that one until you said something, I routinely look through the Blurs for interesting ones. He's missing out on people searching by the keyword blur.

I wouldn't pay that much if it had a composite blade and the clip was diamond encrusted lol
