Carbon Fiber Scales on Carni Cub Try #2

Folks,

A kind soul offered to sell me a NIT Carni Cub with carbon fiber scales. Am ignorant, so I ask you, what are carbon fiber scales worth vs. G-10 ones. FWIW, the G-10 scales on my full sized Carnivores are fine.

Carbon fibre is suppose to be lighter than G-10. From what I understand, REKAT takes a Carbon Fibre laminate and applies it to a G-10 scale. It makes for a great looking handle without costing a small fortune. Carbon Fibre is rather expensive compared to G-10. If I have any of this wrong, will someone please correct me.
