Carbon Fiber Scales on Carni Cub

Folks,

Got an offer of a Carni cub with carbon fiber scales for a bit more than the cost of a regular carni cub. Am clueless, so I ask what is the advantage of carbon fiber scales in a knife I will carry and use? The G-10 handles on my two Carnivores are fine by me.

Alan,
I have never handled a Carni, or Carni cub. However, I have two Sifu's one with black g-10 and the other carbon fiber. To my knowledge the carbon fiber REKAT handles are carbon fiber laminates bonded over g-10. The thing that I noticed about the carbon fibder is it slides in and out of the pocket quicker (because of the smooth finish). I perfer the G-10 once in hand. But the biggest thing about the carbon fiber is it looks COOL
