Carnivore D2

I have never owned a Rekat product, but looking at photos and descriptions, they look to be a good knife. I am considering purchasing a 5" Carnivore in either ATS-34 ofr D2. I am a woodworker and I would be using this knife to do many tasks, including cutting hard woods like maple and oak. What can I expect from this knife? Would the D2 or Ats-34 be better suited for woodworking applications? What can I expect from the lock? How does it rate compared to a liner lock? Does the Carnivore Cub come in the D2?
How come one one seems to be selling Carnivores on the "for sale" page? Can I assume they're not that popular?
I know that's alot of questions, I would appreciate any help! Thanks!
