Recent thread about how many rounds does one carry got me thinking.

When carrying ammo either EDC or Hunting how do you carry extra ammo?
(ie. butt-stock pouch, pocket, on sling, kydex mag holder ect..)

What about storage at home?
Do you keep them locked up? In original box/package? ect.

How many extra round in general does one keep on hand when carrying?
How about how many rounds are kept at home?

Looking foreword to your responses!

Hunting ammo is kept in a plastic camping soap box in my right coat pocket.
Target & range ammo is kept in an old MTM carry box (100 rds) for each caliber I have with me.
Different caliber home ammo is stored in the Dillon 100 rd. flat boxes which are on my work bench in my gun room shelved in a modified wall cabinet with locks on both doors. The gun room entry door is locked at all times for obvious safety reasons.
Be safe.
