I'm considering a 7062 in blue bone with a wharncliffe blade. I'm wondering if any of you own this knife. If so, what are your thoughts?

Excellent knife for a small pocket knife. Longer than the peanut and shaped nicely for a good grip. The Wharncliffe blade is very useful.

Are you sure on that number? From what little I know about Case pattern stamps, the 7 would indicate wood scales, the 0 would indicate no blades and I can't even find a 62 pattern, with or without blades.

Okay, I'm just razzing you a little. What can I say, I have a weird sense of humor. I assume you're talking about the 62109W Mini Copperhead like this one, but blue.

It's at the small end of what I find usable with my large hands, but it has proven quite capable at work.

I've had one for about a year now. It is the one knife that is in my pocket no matter what. It is the handiest knife I've ever had.

That's the knife I had a weird dream about a while back. Can't recall much about it, but for some reason I was frantically sawing away at a mooring line with a stag copperhead with a wharnie blade.

Man, I gotta stop with the pepperoni pizza late at night.

It is my favorite small pocketknife pattern. It has been in my pocket more than any other knife since I bought it. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get one.

I'm definitely a fan of this pattern.

For some reason I smile whenever you say this.:D

Fishstalker, pay no attention to that last post by Protourist (Mack). He knows full well why he smiles when I say things like I did in my post; he's the one that lured me into buying one and I must say I do not regret it. I am wanting to get another one just in case I do something stupid like lose that one and the blue bone model you are looking at is definitely a contender. One other thing is that these knives always look better in real life than in the Case stock renderings. - Ed J

I'm buying the red bone model but I'm thinking of two and replacing the scales with nice black ebony with a bar shield. ;-))

Best regards

Robin

If you get and and like it don't blame us. We can't be held responsible for your coming addiction.

I don't have one with the wharnclif blade but I did pick up a nice 1976 model with chestnut bone scales and cv blades at the flea market this past saturday. It's a nice pattern and a joy to use.

Thanks!!! I love that ol' Vom Cleff.

I have one and it is a nice pocketer. I've subscribed to the "small knife" wisdom for years, but recently realized that less than 3.25 or 3.5 just doesn't fit my hand well. And this one is small.
