Hey guys I need your help. My girlfriend recently bought me a new Case knife. It is a ROG 6347 D. Thats a 6347 stockman with Rodgers Bone and Damascus. Sad part is that the F&F is horrible. The springs are all proud of the handle, the blades rub, and the main blade is crooked, or atleast looks it to me and all my friends. Now I want to know whether to return it to the seller, she got it on eBay, or if I send it to Case will the repair it? I don't want to have my GF be out the $80 she spent on it if Case will not fix at the minimum the crooked Main Blade. That is what I am most concerned about. What do you guys think I should do? Send it back or send it to Case and have them repair it, if it wont cost me anything else.

You could always have your girlfriend contact the seller and see if they have another one. If they do, have them check to see if the F&F is better and then see if you can exchange it.

Case is very good about taking care of problems. Don't send an e-mail though, call and talk to someone and explain the issues you are having with your knife.
I have no doubt they will repair it, and make it like it should have been in the first place

If it were mine, I would let Case take care of it.

CASE replaced a defective knife for me and I don't live in the USA, so I regard their customer service as outstanding.

Well ya'lls answers are good enough for me. It is going back to Case to be made right. I am really excited about the knife and can't wait to get it good now. Thanks guys!

I sent in a Trapper to get a wobbly blade fixed, and when I got it back, not only was the wobble gone, they polished her back up too. However, they did completely ruin the edge I had put on it. I had a nice thin edge on both blades when I sent it off, and I got it back with very obtuse and ragged edges on both blades.

I would suggest sending a note along with any knife you send in, detailing what you want fixed, and what you want them to leave alone.

I sent them a chestnut bone muskrat a little while back with one blade that didn't open right and they fixed it up right and sent it back to me - all it cost me was the postage to get it there. Their turnaround time is pretty slow, but they appear to do good work.
