This is the first knife I have done any Celtic knotwork engraving on. My folding bowie (FB1) pattern folder with crackled mastodon ivory, 24k border with trinity knot inlays, and a 4 bar turkish twist "W" damascus blade. 14k gold thumb stud and bale round it out.

Let me know what you think

A beauty Bailey. Being of Scottish lineage I am very partial to Celtic knots, especially ones done that nicely.

Well that's just one of the nicest folders that I've ever seen. Fabulous work Bailey.

I love this style of folder. This is a fine example. Congrats, Bailey!

Great engraving, great materials, great execution what more could you ask for? Really sweet folder!

This is my favourite of your Folding Bowies so far. You don't happen to have any close ups of the damascus and bolster by any chance?

Also, out of interest would this type of design be feasible as a slip joint rather than bail/bale(?) lock?

Cheers,

Stephen
