Centofante Question

Any chance we'll see a Centofante with carbon fiber handles?

The original Centofante (Al handles) was one of my all-time favorites. Haven't had the chance to get one of the new G-10 models yet but I was think the CF scales would REALLY dress up this exceptional pocket knife.

Jon - At this time, we have no plans for Carbon fiber Centofante's. Although it is not an impossibility for the future.

We are currently heavily backordered on the Centofante models in G10. Probably not a good idea to add another model at this time.

We have decided to go ahead with CPM440V on the C50 with the next run. Will be more expensive, but more knife.

Sal -- I guess "You can't beat the custom flat ground CPM-440V steel for quality" will appear as a revision on your next Centofante ad. Now this will be nearer to the truth!

I must say I do like the idea of a Centofante with carbon fibre scales. That would be a very classy knife. I hadn't really considered the Centofante until I got my bag of goodies from Danelle. I think there is a conspiracy here because, after I pinned the little Centofante pin onto my denim jacket, I started hearing voices telling me to buy a full size one to go with it. Danelle, are you dabbling in magic over there in Golden? Anyway I really do need a knife with a Whancliffe blade so the C25 now has a place on my wish list, right after the Chinese folder

Sal,

I *beg* you to use CPM440v in your next C25 run as well. Three inch blades are the limit in many areas - don't deny us poor souls such an outstanding steel! Yes, ATS-34 is exceptional but a CPM440v C25 (with CF if possible) would easily become my full time utility knife replacing even my beloved Small Sebenza.

In my not so humble opinion , the little
blue C-25 I carry is the finest all around
cutting tool ever conceived by the mind of
man.It cuts like a lazer and sharpens easily
because of the blades thiness.440v would ice
the cake.

I will buy a small Centofante with CPM440V steel. This would be a great knife.
Please.
Thank you,
Danny

Count me in on the C25 with cpm-440v!
I'd also go for carbon fiber handels but I'd be more than happy to stick with the G10. How about a different color G10? Or even colored CF like Boker(I like the red colored one)? By the way, I have that one advertisement of yours, with the original Centofante cutting through the plate, hanging in my office. That has to be the best ad I've seen for a knife.

Thanks for all the great knives!

LOL! I must have seen that ad a dozen times before I caught the "punchline." Always just though "yep, that's a Centofante and a plate." Moral: bears ain't so bright.

My favorite is the old Terzuola cutting through the free-hanging steel cable "and it still shaved!" Hehehe, that wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, now was it?
