Sal,

Saw the Cenofante ad.

Have to ask. Is this a version of the rolling lock, or is it some sort of linerlock safety?

Had one in my hands yesterday, and it is liner lock safety. With lock on, you can clear liner from blade and it will not close.

Sing - It's a safety that works on the blade instead of the linerlock. A Centofante invention. Very close tolerance and nicely made as the entire "SecurLok" assembly is hidded in the 1/8" thick G10 scale. (Thanx to Frank and Vince).

Thanks. I'll have to look at it the next time I am in the cutlery store.

Anybody own one of these?
Care to share your thoughts on the centofante spyderco's?
I've been toying with the idea of buying one soon.
Thanks

Sal -- in closing a Centofante lock, is it a two-step process?

remember, we all have a point!

Titan.
I think I can answer this for Sal.
Yes the C25/50 have a two step unlocking feature if you decide to use the safty lock every time you open the knife.
Thanks
Vince.

Thanks, Vince. I'm glad most of your Y2K folders will have the rolling lock module that feauture a one-step closing process...
