Ceramic Blades?

Is there such a thing as ceramic blade "blanks"?

Or do ceramic blades have to be extruded or cast to their shape?

Got a project in my head, and ceramic is part of the plan.

In Bob Terzuola's "the taactical Folding Knife", he states that he ocasionaly uses ceramic blades in his folders.

He uses YTZAP ceramic,and states that you have to have lapidary and diamond tools to work, but doesnt' state where he gets it.
