hey guys... here is an integral made from D2, Paul Bos heatreated,
just under 9"...i have a good friend that owns a machine shop...and with lots of help from him, milling out for the scales and blade area... profiled by hand and totaly ground by hand on my "cheapo" Grizzly grinder this is what i came up with:D

Joe, I have a milling machine, maybe you could come over here and make me one. I'll by the materials.....:D :D :D
 
I got a miller and a surface grinder and all the heat treat
stuff you want..
come on up.. you can make me one too Joe.:D

Now I have to make one Joe :rolleyes:
like I don't have enough to do now :grumpy: :D :D

thanks for the nice words gents:) i appreciate it...keeps the the mind and soul always looking for new outlets in knife making...looking to make the perfect knife... well almost perfect;) :p i have another to finish up, more of a clip point fighter style blade w/snakewood scales...that's going to be a birthday gift for my brother inlaw...which im sure will be passed down to my new "Godson" when he comes of age:D

Great work.Now i I only had a milling machine to try something like this on I would be having to try one myself.

I have a milling machine too, I think we should all chip in and buy Joe a season bus ticket, he can ride around to all our houses and make us integrals!

All kidding aside though -- when do I get mine? I know, I know -- when I make it!

Well, one is mine,and one is too young, but there is an another one...;):p

Don't worry Joe, Tyler will definitely be getting that one someday.
