Charllotesville VA things to do?

Guys,
Think I even mispelled the name of the town. Shows how much I know about it!
Are there any good knife/gun shops in the area I should drop in on while I'm there in early Jan?

Monticello is a must see. Cool place. There are also a few wineries in the immediate vicinity- that's a good time. Crabtree Falls is close by- good day hiking if the weather cooperates. Can't help w/ th knife/gun shops- sorry.

If you're a hoops fan, you might want to check out a UVA basketball game...if they are at home. If so, there's probably a good chance to see them vs. a good quality ACC opponent.
