Check out the SOURCE!

1985???!!!! Your gettin old man.

Just kidding

Bills are definately the best and i'm glad I found them.

I have worked with Bill on a couple of difficult special orders, and he's been great to work with.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bill's cases are the best you can buy, hands-down.

I haven't made many knives in the last couple years, but every one of them was sent out with a Bill's Custom Case.

I'm glad to see Bill has a site now! :)

Jeez, STeven, in 1985 custom knives were the last thing on my mind. I'm positive all my money was spent on weed and girls.
Bought my first custom in '89, discovered Bill's, and never looked back.

Hell, life's too short for cheap cases or was that fat chicks or was it brown...

Bill is the man, best cases made!

Very good to see the web site. Bout time, Bill ! :D

Chuck's right, need prices listed.

Thanks STeven. Bill and I had been working on this project on and off since August. I finished shooting the images just a couple of weeks ago. Mitch Lum designed the clean and useful website.

We spent considerable time on pleasing layouts and showing the features clearly. What you see in the end is about 1/10th of what I shot. (About what it takes me for a good knife photo. ;))

Bill Mittleman is A+ class to work with. He's a good egg by every measure. His cases have much more going on in them than meets the eye. The best zippers, full padding to keep knives from sliding back and forth, clean stitching, and a cool variety of outer shells.

Really well-thought-out.

Thanks.

I have lots of cases, but there is nothing that comes close to Bill's. If used to ship a knife, you could almost tape the postage to the zipper case and send it out. His cases are seriously that protective.

If you cork the tips(which should be done, anyway) you are right about that, Bob!

I had a knife with pearl handles fall about 5' onto a concrete floor while packed in a Bill's case, landed on the end, not the flat, and it was just fine...THAT is some protection.

Of course Bill should have prices on the website, I mentioned this to him last night....the problem is he makes so many sizes, and uses so many different materials that the chart is quite large, and he has not figured out a way to incorporate it...but he is working on it.

Hey this is the new website that Mitch Lum put together for Bill. First Class site.
Bill does make some great cases. He made a giant one for my axe/gun "Brutus" so I could ship it across the US several times.
Somebody sent me a knife by USPS once in one of those wimpy cases and I opened the box to find the tip sticking out one end of it.

each time i open a parcel and find one of bill's cases in it, i know that the knife travelled safely over the pond and is in perfect condition. hard to beat!

Burt Foster sent a knife in a BILL'S CASE?;)
(Just kidding, everyone knows that Burt prefers cases made in China or Pakistan)

All my fixed blades (mostly daggers) rest in Bill's cases.
For folder portability I invested in one of his duffels that holds 9 of his 12 packs. One of the best investments I have made. The duffel is around 15 or 20 years old has been to quite a few shows and countless trips and does not look a day over 2. :D.
