Check out this bird in my brother in laws yard

Never really thought much about the diversity of birds in an area just a bit south of us but far enough to be another climate zone difference. My brother in law sent this to us today and I thought it was fake but its actually a Greater Flamingo in his back yard. Man my cat would freak if something that big landed in our yard! What a site! The other bird is pretty cool too but holy cow that pink one is a big SOB! Wonder if it tastes like Turkey?

I looked these up after hearing back from them because I thought it was fake to be honest but its more than likely a zoo escapee.

Go figure. Anyway, I know some folks round here that would call that big fella lunch.

I thought the dang thing was a fake statue. Like a lawn jockey or something.
